Orexart has been exhibiting emerging and established artists from New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific since 1990. It is owned and managed by its founding Directors, Rex Armstrong and Jennifer Buckley, whose experience in the art community includes pivotal roles in the establishment of Auckland Art Fair and Artweek. Over the past three decades, Orexart has occupied premises uptown, downtown, midtown and the city fringe. The corner site on Ponsonby Road marks the start of a fourth decade, and a new chapter in the Gallery’s story.
